Securing Care & Forever Homes For Animals in NEA

Welcome To NEA Humane Society
Finding Loving Homes For Pets

We are a 501c non-profit animal shelter helping to place surrendered or abandoned animals into loving homes across NEA. Just as our motto states, we encourage you to help us help them through many ways of giving. Adopting a sheltered animal is such a beautiful way to not only save a pet's life but add a loving member to your family. Click here to find out more about our village: https://youtu.be/Wyj3r8UhppU

Foster A Pet

Fostering a pet is vital to the mission of NEA Humane Society. Our facility has limited space, so it's important we find caring foster homes for abandoned or lost cats, dogs, and new litters.

Meet Eunice

Eunice is 15 years old and 13.5 lbs. She's been in the shelter for 12 weeks, and she's a staff favorite! She free-ranges around the shelter and gets along great with Boss Lady Sadi. She's also very smart and enjoys working cat puzzles for treats.

Meet Dobby

Dobby is 3 1/2 years old and 63 lbs. He's been in the shelter for 1 year and 5 months. He's very playful and loves being outside, running in the sunshine and splashing in baby pools (when it's warm enough). Energetic and affectionate, he's the best boy!

Lives saved

We keep a record each year of the number of lives we've saved. These lives mean a lot to us, and we're always excited to see the number get high.
